Conax Technologies’ exhaust and wheelspace thermocouples used on older Frame turbines meet or exceed the operational and
performance requirements required by the OEM speci cations on heavy duty gas turbines. These cost e ective thermocouples are
designed to be hermetically sealed to provide a more reliable product that eliminates insulation resistance problems experienced when using other supplier’s products. This robust design can accommodate either single or dual element thermocouples depending on your application. The typical applications for these thermocouples include wheelspace, exhaust, compressor discharge, as well as others.

Precise Installation
These type K ungrounded thermocouples are manufactured using conductor materials meeting special limits of error (± 0.4% accuracy), or standard limits of error (± 0.75% accuracy), depending on the application. All Conax speci cation quali ed thermocouples are manufactured per ASTM E585 and ASTM E608 standards utilizing the highest purity insulation materials yielding superior insulation resistance at elevated temperatures. In our factory, Conax’s thermocouples are manufactured and tested at various points during the manufacturing cycle to give you the highest possible level of quality. The testing includes helium leak testing, calibration, thermal shock and insulation resistance.
